OUR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT PROCESS

Our Financial Management Process has been put together to help our clients understand our charging structure and also to understand how we work to help give them the best advice and information possible.

Our Financial Management Process works like a flow-chart to give a simple, graphical illustration of how we work, when we start charging and what, as the client, you can expect.

Service Proposition

We will offer you an initial appointment, of up to one hour.

This will give you an opportunity to tell us about yourself, what you hope to achieve, and for us to tell you how we can help.

Following this meeting, should you wish to proceed, we will be able to provide you with a quote to compile a Personal Financial Management Plan on your behalf. Assuming you wish to proceed, we will arrange a second appointment, which could take anything between two and four hours. At this appointment we will go through your aims, your objectives, your priorities, your current income and expenditure and your existing plans – in other words, a full overview of your current situation to ensure we have a thorough understanding.

Your Personal Financial Management Plan

When we have built up a complete picture, we will put together your Personal Financial Management Plan. This is designed to capture your financial position in a single document, and forms the basis of all of the future work we will undertake for you. Your Personal Financial Management Plan gives you a clear picture of your current position, the issues that you face, and what areas you need to concentrate on. Included within the Plan will be a list of the actions we recommend you take, together with the expected costs.

The next step

Should you want to act upon any of our recommendations, you will then need to decide if you want to become a long-term Herts & Essex Financial Services client. Your objectives and your situation will undoubtedly change over time and it is crucial that your financial planning meets these changing requirements. If you decide to continue using our services, we will work with you to help you achieve your objectives, keep you organised and focused, and make your money really work for you.
