How we are paid

The initial meeting of up to one hour to confirm your requirements, review our Client Agreement and discuss the scope of our services. The cost of this meeting will be covered by Herts & Essex.

Financial Plan Preparation

A commitment fee of £500.00 is payable when you decide to become a registered client of our practice. A fixed price irrespective of what services you require or the number of meetings in our office that it may take to prepare your plan.

This covers initial file administration, all data gathering and collection, Financial Service Know Your Client compliance and Money Laundering Verification, a review of your current financial situation including the preparation and presentation of a generic financial plan. This is a core service designed to give you the information and support you need when making important financial decisions.

Financial Management Services and Client File Maintenance

This important service provides you with regular feedback on the performance and outcome of your financial decision making so that you can continuously improve and refine your strategy and goals.

Monthly payments to be made by standing order:

Annual Meeting programme Fee of £50.00 per month
Bi-annual Meeting programme Fee of £75.00 per month

Financial Arrangement Fees

Financial Arrangement Fees cover all implementation based services including liaison with product providers, investment houses, telephone calls, service issues, existing plan documentation processing, correspondence, meetings, product specific needs analysis, research, creativity and advice, new transaction processing and checking to include amendments and updates to existing plans, plus liaison with any associated Specialist Advisers you may appoint (such as banks, solicitors, accountants, property agents or stockbrokers). These fees are based on initial, renewal and fund-based rates, but subject to a minimum of our time-cost charges at the nominal rate of £150.00 per hour for Advanced Qualified Planners, £50.00 per hour for administration, or 3% of the total transaction value, based on single premium investments if higher. We do not have a bias towards any suppliers of investment products regarding their commission rates. We have set a maximum 3% initial fee and 0.5% per annum fee for investments under management payable by the provider/manager/investment house, payable to Herts & Essex Financial Services. Any commissions or fees received that exceed 3% will be used to increase your investment allocation.

Other Charges

Should any work be required outside our Client Agreement, a separate Letter of engagement will be issued to confirm your instructions and our charges before any decision is made or work commences.

All of the above fees are subject to annual review.
All fees are payable in full by cheque on request before any work proceeds.

Standing order payments for the Financial Management Services, must be arranged and confirmed before any work proceeds.
